Organizing photos and stumbled across this picture that I took in Singapore before we flew to Nepal. Going to tag it with one of those "what's in your bag" photos on my Flickr... Shamefully (or perhaps wisely), after the first day carrying this stuff, I stuffed it into a duffel and let one of our porters carry it in addition to all the other stuff he was already carrying.

This was an awesome shot from Nepal. We were walking along, and these two dudes were beating the rice pile with these wooden sticks... SlyMartin went back and snapped a few shots with his D300.
Unfortunately, they were no longer whacking things with sticks, but it's still a great shot!

I am sitting here at an Internet cafe here in Ghorepani, at 2800m. Twitter didn't seem to be working, so I'm trying Posterous. Just finished a few work emails, and there is a festival group chanting and dancing outside the window in front of me. The Internet cafe is run by a bunch of pretty Nepali girls. :)
